Our History
The Propane Store is a small, family owned and operated business based in Angier, NC. Our family has been in the propane business since the 1960s. In the 60s, our family started Garner Gas, and ran it up until it was sold in 2005. We are no longer affiliated with Garner Gas, but it helped us build a strong customer base in the commercial, residential, and agricultural sectors. The company was able to do this because of the hard work and effort my family put into providing excellent customer service.

Suburban Propane is the parent company of Garner Gas and is no longer operating at this location. The Propane Store is now operating at this location and is in no way affiliated with Suburban Propane or any other propane companies. The Propane Store is locally owned and operated. We have been in business since 2014. We are a full service company specializing the installation and repair of all propane appliances as well as commercial, residential and agricultural propane delivery. We also have a propane cylinder filling station on site accompanied by the lowest prices in town.
